Our daughter has ectodermal dysplasia which means she is missing 18 permanent teeth. Initailly she needed about $60,000 of dental treatment. However, we were referred to the UT dental school where she received help. The dental school has provided excellent care and a comprehensive plan. The cost there is only about $27,000. Our insurance will pay $3,000. She still needs about $13,000 of treatment which involves implants and several surgeries. She is 15 years old.
